Hi Mridul.
Receiving admission packet would take about 10 days after dispatch. Unlikely any Indian has got it unless their result was given much before decision date. "Admission packets would be dispatched early this week" - Carlson adcom. I had written to them asking about it.

I asked them for estimate and more information on scholarships -- They haven't given me any scholarships because only guys with more than 710 got it... so good luck for others as I will not be joining in now

how did you communicate? Did they quote that only those with more than 710 are given scholarship?

I emailed them and yes she mentioned explicitly that

"At this time, the average GMAT for our scholarship recipients is well over a 710"

I dont know if 710 will have or not but atleast I didn't get it which is same as dinged for me - very sad - GMAT should not be the only criteria for scholarships.

Agree! fingers crossed.. no scholarship would be as good as a ding for me too :cry: :cry:

Abhi - No Worries buddy, but I agree it's sad news. But, seriously, this sentence explicitly mentioning about a cut-off score is quite intimidating as I've always heard of an application being considered holistically during scholarship evaluation.

Good Luck to others and I'm sure prospective applicants will keep a note of this ;)

Guys, don't lose heart. I know a current student with 720 GMAT who received Full Tuition waiver..

Also, if they don't get better students in later rounds, they will offer the scholarship to first round admits.

@abhisingla, out of curiosity, who did you contact in the adcom, Linh Gilles??

^^ Agree, lets keep our fingers crossed!! Besides, it mentions the average score, so someone with less than 710 might also get a scholarship. Will they mail the packet or let us know via an e-mail?

Dnt know abt that !! According to them we should recive this packet by this weekend!!
