hi everyone!!
I have just taken the gmat.. 580.. not good enough.. In my last two gmat prep tests i got 630 and 640... i am planning to apply for cass business school... msc in shipping, trade and finance... gmat is not required for this msc... do you think i should retake the exam?? from cass they told me they want 600+... but a friend of mine is now in cass without even taken the gmat.. we have the same university score... should i retake, or apply now??

580 may be close enough but I would play it safe and just retake within a month - gmat has a standard error of 40, so you may end up with 620 anyway (without any studying) and most likely even more since you will know the environment and be less stressed.
