CBS admission question related to timeline planning [#permalink]
11 May 2011, 16:15
Hi, I am working full time in the banking industry and targetting the J-term 2012 (CBS). Just would like to ask, how the following timeline looks like (should I take the GMAT earlier so that I may give more time for essay writing process).
(The plan - Take GMAT August (2011) 1st week, and send the application by 3rd week of Sep (2011). )
Given CBS follows a rolling enrollment, theoratically with every passing day the number of seats still available will reduce. So, if I submit the application by 3 rd week of Sep, would the chance be substantially less.

Its a bit difficult to say because it also depends on the strength of your writing skills. 3 weeks may be MORE than enough for some and not for others. Moreover, you should also leave some space in there for contingency. What happens if you dont get the score that you're aiming for in your GMAT? You'll definintely need a few weeks to prepare before you sit it again.
