Hi,
I am applying to fall 2012 to MBA and MS as well. I have passed couple of exams (Fin. Acc'g & Managerial Acc'g) to get Certificate of Accounting Practitioner, which is very popular at CIS. I know that I passed them and therefore I have certificate 50% completed. But The problem is that I cannot send official result, b/c It will come in two months, while i apply after one month. Now I don't know if i should include this information to my application without official confirmation. Can B-schools just somehow check this by themselves? I asked representatives how i can send preliminary results, but i didn't get proper answers.

thanks in advance

How are you planning to mention it? In the resume? That's it?

I think it is safe to state that you are an "Accounting Certificate xxx candidate" - this indicates that you are in process of getting one.

If you want to use it in your application essays, If there is an optional essay for your school, you may want to state that there.

P.S. You do have a very good question. Schools often will not accept any additional info/data after the deadline. However, this is a tricky question since your exam is coming BEFORE the deadline; it is just that the confirmation is coming after.
