All,

I was wondering what people knew about passing the CFA level and MBA admissions. Does passing a level on the CFA help your application if you are trying to switch careers from non-finance to finance ? Anyone had experience with this if so please let me know

it helps but not to the extent one would think. I think for a career switcher into finance it would be a much bigger benefit than someone already working in finance. Honestly CFA's are rather common for applicants to top schools, its a plus but how big of a plus is hard to say...its not being a fighter pilot or an olympian.

However, I do not do profile reviews, don't offer predictions on chances and am far to busy to review essays, so save the energy of writing me a PM seeking help for these. If I don't respond to a PM that is not one of the previously mentioned trash can destined messages, please don't take it personally I get so many messages I have a hard to responding to most. The more interesting, compelling, or humorous you message the more likely I am to respond.

That is a good link. I am interested in the CFA as well. There is a lot of information on here about the CFA, you just have to search correctly.
