what do you think are my chances for top ten business schools?
For the range of schools you're planning to apply to, I'd certainly feel much more comfortable if your GMAT were higher, at least in the 680-700 range--are you planning to re-take? Your UGPA is respectable, and Chem. E. is a challenging major, but your GMAT score is at the lower end of the range for your target schools.
There are so many other factors to consider as well--do you have significant community involvement? How about leadership experience, at work and/or in the community? If you stay put and gain another year of work experience, are you likely to be offered increased responsibilities & leadership opportunities? Are there other ways in which you can demonstrate strong quantitative and verbal skills, if you aren't able to raise your GMAT score? All these things will affect the outcome of your applications.
Good luck!
