Chances of Admission at UNC? [#permalink]
03 Jul 2010, 13:11
Hello, I'm entering my senior year as an Economics major at UNC and am interested in getting a Master's in Accounting and would prefer to stay here. Right now my GPA is only around a 3.1, which I know is low. I had a bad year this past (Junior) year and my GPA is nowhere near where I would like it. I am hoping that my GMAT can help make me more attractive. I started studying for the GMAT last month and scored a 750 on the GMATPrep test. I'm planning on taking the real thing sometime in August and I'm hoping to score somewhere around there. I was just interested to know what you think my chances might be for getting into the MAC program at UNC? Basically, I'm wondering if a high GMAT score can offset a bad GPA/year? Thanks in advance!
