Question: You are given a series 3+32+33+34+……+3k. What is the value of k so that the summation of the series will be divisible by 6?
Thanks for posting this question! Unfortunately, you've chosen the wrong thread--this one is over two years old! You're probably best off posting a new thread in the math section. When you do, make sure you double-check your transcription. I'm fairly sure the first term in this list should be 31, not 3. And in order for 3k to mean the correct thing, the question needs to explain what k is; it's meant to be a missing digit, not a real variable, correct?
