I have an extensive background (almost 7-8 yrs of experience) in Information Technology (even a MS in Computer Science). Will a part-time MBA from Chicago Booth fit my profile?

1. You're in the range for Chicago, but the median is at 690. At least the quant half of your GMAT is very strong.

2. Are you from the Chicago metro area? If not, then is there another relatively strong program locally?

I personally wouldn't travel by plane weekly for an MBA, at least because I live near a major city.

Booth is obviously a very difficult school to get into, but given your solid work experience/time invested, that should definitely be a nice boost. From what I've been told (don't know exactly how true it is), GMAT score becomes slightly less emphasized and work experience slightly more emphasized when you have a lengthy employment history.

Good luck with your application process.
