Chicago <-> GMAT Score [#permalink] New post 30 May 2006, 04:05
Hello evaone
finally joined this club ..couldnt resist being a passive player.
Getting down to business right away
Intending to take my GMAT very shortly
WOrked with Hewlett Packard and presently with ACcenture 3 yrs work ex
now my question....
(Don kick me if i am wrong)
THere is a word around that CHICAGO GSB lays great emphasis on GMAT score...wat i heard (mite be misinformed) that if u are escorted with a cute handsome GMAT score of 740 plus..u are highly likely to get in.
can anybody care enough to shed some light on it.
Cause i am hugely intensely interested in being a part of the Chicago GSB community. that is my numero uno.
and jus another one.....what precisely is this POWERPREP...which publisher ....couldnt find much details on it ...pls somebody
thank u

There is no magic score. I know people who scored 780s and did not get in. I know people who scored a 640 and did.

The rule of thumb for the top unis is simple - 700+ is what you are aiming for , but mid to high sixes can get you in (though of course, it is harder).
