I doubt the actual time will change... I'll talk to admissions today if I can, but otherwise, I'd say 8.30am in front of the trading booth / student lounge? (I'll know for sure if that makes sense in a day or two once my schedule is finalized)
As to the other question: You can send in a non-electronic rec. No problem. I checked for you.

OK I got my schedule and .... drum roll .... I have Fridays completely free!
Thus I propose the following: Why don't we meet in front of the student lounge at 8.15am to 8.30am?
What we do with the half hour is up to you - we can walk around and I'll show you some of the facilities, or we can just chat, or grab coffee, etc
If there is interest.... I might block off a study room for a few hours on Friday afternoon and just go sit in there and be available to read essays on a first come first serve basis... Please let me know sooner rather than later if this is something people might be interested in and I'll try to book a room. Alternatively, I could book off a room and just answer questions in general ... Or if you guys want to just have fun .... we can skip this idea altogether. I'm flexible.
Also - Is anyone in town Thursday night and want to go to a TNDC (if one is scheduled) ?

I am in town all week, not sure whats you are talking about though. Your idea for friday morning sounds good. The afternoon idea sounds good now but I am not sure what they have set up for us and what time its going to end.
You should hunt down some of the other gmatclubbers who are now attending GSB and see if they want to help you out...it seems like there is going to be a pretty good crowd of us there.

I had dinner with one of them tonight, he suggested he might be game but I'll let him volunteer if he so chooses.

I am planning to apply to GSB in the first round.
Was looking at their website for their events. I do not see any event on September 28 in Chicago. Can someone plz share the link to that information on their website.
Thanks
Vishal

Well for those hoping to visit Kellogg, I talked to an Addmissions officer, she said that with all the events have a lot of people out of the office and thats why tours and class visits aren't for several more weeks. She did say that you can go there and visit the campus and are welcome to stop by the admissions office if you want to be pointed in the right direction.
She actually was pretty honest about the tours not being very useful anyways. Said its only one building so there isn't a lot of substance to it.
I think I may go for a self guided tour with my wife either Wed or Thurs next week. Mainly cause I want to check out Evanston too.

I would suggest you just walk around yourself at Kellogg. The admissions staff do little more than hand you a little badge that says visitor and thats about it - even when class visits are in session.
Its a small building too (relatively speaking) - and its not very pretty - but save time for the actual campus surrounding Kellogg (which is quite pretty). Take a walk by the lake (ask someone to give you directions to "Norris") if you have time.

I'll be around. I'll probably be a lot more busy, but I'll be around. I'd probably suggest you just keep the thread here since I think you may be the only one on Oct 11.
I may have recruited yb and 09App to come meet with you guys on Sept 28th as well - they were applicants from last year.
