There are a few riverboat ones that are closer in Elgin... They suck ass. They're for old people who play slots. I want poker.

So far - the most informative thread on any two schools I've seen - very very impressive. Thanks folks.

Has any Booth student or alum in this forum chosen Booth over Wharton independent of a scholarship offer? That is, has anyone been admitted to both schools without a scholarship offer from either school, with equal scholarships from both schools, or - even more extreme - with a greater scholarship from Wharton, and still chosen Booth over Wharton? If so, why? Thank you.

teabiscuit, I can't recall a forum member who recently faced a booth vs. wharton decision, but there are plenty of people who "choose" Booth over Wharton by virtue of not even applying to Wharton, even if they are competitive at Wharton's peer schools. If you want advice on your own decision, I would suggest creating a new thread and sharing some details about your goals and interests. Best of luck with your decision!
