Paul, I have been offered admission to these two programs. I am asking your advice here because I credit much of my success to your essay book.
Chicago (~35% scholarship)
Michigan (essentially 100%)
My interest is in consulting, so the 60+ percent finance placement of Chicago initially worried me. Any insights you might have would be appreciated.
Apologies for the delayed reply. Both are excellent schools so you won't go wrong either way. I think it comes down to how important the scholarship is to you. If it's a key part of your decision then maybe choose Michigan. If Chicago's 35% would place no burden on you then maybe choose Chicago -- it's overall the stronger and more "reputed" program.
