choice of schools [#permalink] New post 02 Nov 2003, 21:30
Forgive the placement of this post please. I know this forum is meant only for discussions of the exam, but in reading most of the posts here I I would value the posters' opinions in this matter.

I am considering a specialized masters degree focusing in financial markets technology. I am struggling with how to evaluate the program offered by the Illinois Institute of Technology Center for Law and Financial Markets. It's content is exactly what I am looking for and it is literally a few blocks away from the financial exchange where I am a full time analyst. But I am struggling to determine how this program is regarded nationally. Their MBA is not on any lists (although I am not pursuing their MBA), but this specialized degree (their literature claim) is highly regarded.

Does anyone know of a valid ranking of financial technology (or even "finance" in general) MS degrees?

I respect many opinions here and would gratefully welcome any input.
