City University - Msc Financial Economics [#permalink] New post 08 Feb 2012, 02:43
Hello guys,

I've found this master at City Uni ( http://www.city.ac.uk/courses/postgradu ... e-detail=0 ) that has a very consistent and interesting curriculum but one problem: I've never heard of it (not even in the forums).
Another thing I don't like is that they don't consider the GMAT nor the GRE for admissions; so either it is easy to get in, or they look for an outstanding academic record, which I don't have.

Is it demanding? is it good in terms of placement? what do people do after they finnish?

Thanks!

City University has very good brand name in the UK. If you are aiming for a role in finance sector in London, it is probable you can get there with this university. If you have a great GMAT score, it might help you during your job applications.

Explore LSE's programs. I would rank their programs higher than those of City's.

Good luck!
