Is that a sign of a ding -
1) Interview invites are out, I have not heard anything yet.
2) I send email of my updated accomplishments since application submission, no acknowledgement yet.

WHAT DO I Do?

1) Call up? - be more active
2) Wait? - HAVE PATIENCE YOU IDIOT

When are the results due? If its is less than 2 weeks than surely call to follow up (assuming you have not called 10-to-the-hr every hr already, no harm in being proactive). If its more than 2 weeks, I would say give them more time.

Jan 31st is the deadline from CMU for admission notice.
A guy I knew got an interview email on Friday (5th Jan)

So I see your point. Maybe patience and wait out for 10 more days?

Call and just ask if they are still sending out invites. You dont even have to give your name.

I vote wait for the simple reason that .....you didnot ask them a question in your email.

You just gave an update. In all likelihood they should have sent an acknowledgement, but even if they didnot that doesnot reflect negatively on you.

I voted wait, too. Give 'em till about the last week or so.
Or if you call, follow rhyme's advice.

Cheers. L.
