I just applied to CMU for MSCF. I submitted on Oct 20th or something. The website says the decisions are made by Jan 31,2007 for all applicants that make the first round of Nov 6th.

Anyone have any ideas. Why would they wait till Jan 31 to make the decisions? If they get all the applicants in by Nov 6th?

Some schools just take a long time... I mean, Kellogg and Chicago and HBS all get their apps in October but release in January.

hey willget,

I'm not sure about MSCF but the MBA decisions will be released by Dec 22nd.. I contacted them and got the info that they release decisions only by deadlines!! I submitted mine on Oct 27th and it is under review by the adcom. I already finished my interview at a recruiting event. So i guess, I'll've to wait for their final decision only..

44 days to go!!!!

cheers
