This part of the interview surprised me. Quote from the article...

Quote:
Question: Thanks! Can I follow up by e-mail? [Silence.] John?

Answer: [Pause.] I don't have an e-mail address.

Question: You manage $16 billion without e-mail?

Answer: I don't even have a computer in my office. If I had e-mail, I'd never take the time to read research or absorb information. I want to think about what I'm doing, and that takes time.

I don't seriously think its an entirely honest answer... Translated to plainspeak it probably means:

Buddy, I ain't got no time for ya. Bugger off.

Or he might be a straggler left over from the previous generation of anti-PC luddites. Not surprisingly, many 50+ year old people still aren't computer literate.

My gut instinct says that this guy is really covering his tracks.
