Resume should always be 1 page. If you aren't fitting it on one page you need to be more concise. Make sure you are talking about impacts and accomplishments, not just job duties.

I emailed the ad comm about this and they said use both years and the total student budget so your total should be roughly $180k.

Nope. I interviewed on 9/7 and my application went complete on the same day. Nothing yet.

Same for me.. Now my application on its 13th week!... According to admission comittee their deadline latest 14 week after submitting your application

An alumna who lives nearby. I think 99% of their interviews are conducted with an alumnus.

That's an interesting stat - nice digging. I bet it's from the date the application goes "under review". I am at 13 weeks since submission, also. I don't think the review period began until 7/25 or so, though.

You submitted your application very early. I would not stress. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I visited campus on 4 Aug and they stated that they had only begun reviewing applications 2 weeks prior to that. They also were looking at J-term prior to fall entry so it is unlikely your "clock" really started until early August.

@Bananas: how did you konw your application is now complete? Did you get another status update? Thanks and hope you get the call from school soon~!!!!!

I had to call to confirm my interview evaluation was submitted. There was no change to the website.

Submitted last week, invited the day after submitted, interviewed yesterday. A formal interview with admission staff in Moscow. CBS is my first choice, so, fingers crossed. Hope to know the decision in a week or two.

I've been following the boards since I sent my application out, but have yet to participate. I've really appreciated everything you guys have to share. It's really helped me keep my sanity through this process. So with that in mind I thought I'd share a little about my application for those who might be interested.

Submitted my application for J-term on 8/18
received an invitation to interview on 9/19

Work Background: started an online education company with my cousin in when I was 22. I currently act as COO, and manage the US side of the business.The compay today has more than 150 employees. I als earned my JD (non-prestigious part-time program) and am licensed to practice law in my home state. Ex curriculars- pro-bono legal representation for immigrants seeking asylum, founder of a professional group related to my industry, and member of business law society in my region.

Sorry to hear that bananas. I find the whole admissions process to be a huge blackbox and it is impossible to gauge your chances at getting into any top tier program (even if you're super qualifited).

On the "Application Status" pg. does it update when they start looking at your app?
