I have submitted the application on 10/2 and didn't hear anything back from them. I emailed the admissions office and they begun reviewing my application... Why would they start reviewing so late while some of other applications get reviewed much earlier? Like someone mentioned above, I hope i don't get disadvantaged of less spots remaining for ED due to 'delayed' review of my application.

Alright, been reading for a while, my turn to post.
ED, waitlisted into regular round. "Reconsider by Feb. 1st etc."
Stats:
ED submitted: 9/15
Invited to interview: 10/4
Interviewied/Feedback submitted: 10/25
Waitlisted: 11/7
Anyone else know what the odds or acceptance rate is on ED people moved into the regular round?
Any advice on how to pursue candidacy from this point, being waitlisted and put into the regular round?
