Everybody who applies before the January deadline is automatically considered for fellowships and merit based scholarships. You don't have to do anything else.

I am in also  Got the call 2 hours ago from Felicia ED: International based in HK Submitted: Sep 10 Interview invite: Oct 23 Interview: Nov 5 Interview feedback: Nov 8 Accepted: Nov 21 Felicia told me that they are trying to call the candidates before Thanksgiving holiday starts. I would contact the adcom just to be safe though.

RD applicants: I'm not sure how long this has been up on my app status, but it says: "2013 Full Time Regular Decision Applications will go under review beginning November 15, 2012." Not December as indicated in the FAQ!
I guess that means we should be starting to hear about interviews quite soon!!
ED applicants: Does your status change when they're actually reviewing your app? I gathered from earlier posts that it says "Under review" when they're evaluating you?

They did that in the past years but not this year. Unfortunately your status will just say Submitted through the whole process, even after you get accepted. So you won't have any idea until you get the invitation to interview email.

Hate to break it to you but you won't get some love for a while still. When they defer you from Early Decision to regular decision that means they are going to want to review a number of RD apps before they revisit your candidacy. If the first interview invite just went out then they are just scratching the surface of the RD applicant pool.

In my previous application I received an interview but was waitlisted then dinged. Application Submitted: 10/6 Interview Invite: 11/18 Interview Feedback: 12/8 Waitlisted: 12/15 Dinged: 1/26 My guess is that the time difference between waitlist and ding (1.5 months) matters less and its the end date that's more important. Basically after they've had a good shot at reviewing their R1 apps. So I wouldn't expect anything until late January or early February.
