Hi all,

I am planning to apply to columbia for fall 2011 class. Besides columbia I also aim to apply to west coast school, mccombs and UNC as management consulting (MC) (plan A)/ tech product marketing (plan B) are my my preferred areas post MBA. MC seems to be have a good showing at columbia. But how about high tech/software product marketing in companies such as Microsoft, Google, Nokia, Motorola? Do students have opportunities to these employers through on campus infosession? How many MBAstudents go into this field?

Any insight from current/alumni of columbia will be truly helpful.

What are some waitlist strategies specifically for CBS? I updated them on my job role changes, is there anything else I could do without crossing the line to annoyance?
