Columbia/Duke/Yale/Darden

So suppose you got admitted to Columbia, Duke, Darden and Yale as a sales gal that wants to switch into brand management/brand marketing - where would you go? I at some point would like to jump overseas - possibly spain and possibly working for a smaller company 100-250 employees.

Where would you go? Also, to add a little twist I applied to Columbia's binding EA round....

Just given your focus, I would surely suggest for ST goal, Columbia / Duke seem more sensible... for long term, Columbia / Yale.
Personally, I'd say given your brand focus, C/Y/Duke make more sense

If you are more certain about global, then Columbia / Yale make more sense since Duke is not there, yet.

And if luxury goods/more general retail/consumer goods is important, I'd say columbia

So you guys don't think the overall Yale brand name might be beneficial to gain entry and advance in a smaller, european company where the hiring manager (and for that matter most of the executives) does not have an MBA (nor will they likely be familiar with MBA rankings)?

Duke has the best marketing/brand management program out of all those schools. Fuqua has arguably the second best marketing program next to Kellogg. I would imagine they would have a strong alumni base in that area.

If you want to move to a smaller European company later, your work experience will be the most important thing on your resume. A director or brand manager at P&G on your resume will be worth a lot more than your MBA school, especially since Duke, Columbia, and Yale are all very prestigious at home and abroad.

If you were accepted to Columbia EA and want to renege on your admit, I don't know what kind of advice to give.
