My recommender submited today to Columbia but she cannot. I though because I did submit yesterday so the web was locked. It's different for the other websites such as Kellogg's/ Wharton's and Duke's. the recommender can submit later than the applicant as long as he/she do it before the deadline. Do you know this?
I require her to send email with her rec to addmission. Is it possible?

I submitted my stuff before my recommenders did for every school you mention in your post and it has not been a problem.

Yeah most schools say that u can submit even if the recommenders are not ready. I suggest that you call them.

Just as an FYI, my recommender submitted his Columbia stuff in the last couple hours and I sent my stuff a couple weeks ago.

This begs another question, will they treat my application like it came in today or a few weeks ago? I wonder where I am in "rolling" line.
