Hello Guys,
Just applied last week to CBS J-term.
Has anybody been accepted / applied / interviews?
Thanks!
I just applied last week as well. Some people on the larger CBS chain said they had been interviewed and admitted already, but had applied in July or earlier.

I applied in late August and entered the post-interview phase (I am a re-applicant so they used my prior interview) two weeks ago tomorrow. Should be finding out soon. Good luck!

Received the call this morning - I'm in. Good luck to everyone still in the process!

From what we have been told, interview invitations have begun to be sent out. If granted one, be sure that you are well prepared as this is the make or break of your application -- a bad interview will kill your chances and a great interview will greatly enhance your chances. Here, a little investment from a professional may go a long way in achieving your goal.

Columbia J-term 2013-I'm In!!! [#permalink]

So I got the call this morning. Needless to say I'm thrilled! Columbia was my first and only choice for business school, and I didn't even apply anywhere else, so I took a big risk.
Apparerently, Columbia tried to call me last week, and I missed it (I found that hard to beleive because I've pretty much had my phone with me everywhere I go but anyway...). So I actually got an email fom the admissions office telling me to call as soon as possible. So I called them back right away not knowing what to expect, and they told me their happy to offer me a spot in next years class!!!

Hello everyone,
Did anyone apply on the first week of October?
If yes, has anyone received an invitation to interview?
Thank you all
Hi MB, I applied on the last day of September, and received my invitation to interview last week.
I had my interview on Monday, and my interviewer submitted her report last night.
Interview was good. Met with a recent grad for just over an hour in her office. Felt a lot like a standard job interview - general conversation about experience and goals, with some "form" questions thrown into the mix.

Oh wow! There are a bunch of us who applied for the J-term in the second and third week of September and have yet to receive an interview invite. Now I'm a little nervous.

Email. From what I understand, the only call you get is when you are accepted. Otherwise all communication is electronic.

Numbers are similar to yours, Ebee. 720, 3.44 out of a Top 10 Liberal Arts School, 4 years in PE (with some damn good stories to tell) and a desire to pursue a career fostering the growth of small businesses. Good luck to all AND NEVER GIVE UP if a top MBA is your end-goal.
