Comparison of schools based on BusinessWeek data [#permalink] New post 17 Jan 2005, 07:28
How logical/practical is it to compare schools based on the data given for each of them in Business Week?

[BW has four sections for each school: "Getting In", "Academic and Lifestyle", "Careers and Alumni Affairs", "Graduate Comments". Each of these sections give quite a bit of comprehensive summary for each school]

BW provides a lot of great information about the schools and is a terrific way to start to gain an idea as to which schools you want to target. Naturally there is no substitute for visiting a school, but it's a great start.

I definitely would not, however merely rely on the numbered rankings as your guide.
