Hi mates,

this is a very tough one!! :P

IMHO D

A out: it's a fact that people who own a computer see less television than people who don't own one, but this answer is questiong this fact.
B out: national average doesn't have nothing to do here
C out: this answer supports the current idea, which is asked to be clarified.
E out: this answer syas the oppsite that the sentence says: that people with coputer see less television

I hope I'm right

OA?

What level do you think this question belongs to?

Cheers

Tough choice between D and E. But, I think, E is more appropriate as D mentiones that people have empty time to watch TV. But, it is not clear whether this ample time is the reduced time or the original viewing time. E is clear and says that viewing time should have increased.

IMO it is C
Reasoning: The argument says that because of computers use the time needed for television viewing would decrease but what if the computer is owned mostly by the people who previously also never used to watch television. Thus the change in average television viewing time is not because of usage of computers.
