the og says to take a few minutes to think about the awa question and plan a response before writing. do you brainstorm/outline on the computer screen, or do you write an outline out by hand on your notepad?

Good question.

Actually, a student can go either way. Personally, I would use the notepad, because then you don't have to erase it or scroll around.

But if you have terrible penmanship...

yah, i also suggest writing quick notes down on the paper provided. it'll be tough (at least for me) to write an outline on the screen and to somehow manage to access the outline and my draft at the same time.
