I am Indian Female with 4yrs IT background and with 710 in GMAT.I am looking to apply this year.
I have interest in Entrepreneurship in E commerce and Look toward to launch my firm.
Basically After my MBA, I am looking to work with some IT company dealing with on-shelf product. such as Google.
I want to work with designing of product , where I would research the market, consumers and based on it I can work on product. May be after few years I want to launch my own firm.
Now the big question is
1. How to choose my MBA specialization as I am bit skeptical about scope of jobs after MBA in entrepreneurship.
2. How to specify my goals (Short/long ) in my essays.
Google has lots and lots or products and services. I think you need to focus your goal a little. Do you want to do product development for consumers, businesses? What industry or focus do you want to have? Is the product software, hardware, or cloudware?
To your questions:
1. To determine what you shoudl focus your degree on, talk to people in positions that you would like to have after your MBA. If you can't talk to them, then read about them. Maybe email them if you see relevant online material. Ask them what courses did they find valueable? What did they find a waste? What would they recommend. Then
choose schools accordingly.
