Contacts for Extracurricular Activities [#permalink]

For the Stanford application, you have to indicate the contact name and phone number for all of your post-college extracurricular activities. Are they actually going to call them? I'm only asking this, because there was an activity I was involved in over a year ago, where I know that the contact person is no longer at with the organization. I have no idea where he has since moved on to, since I also stopped volunteering there.

From what I know, they rarely call your contacts. It's mainly a mechanism to disocurage people from lying. But, it's always possible that they will. If you need tyo, just give the person's name and a general contact number for the organization.
