Actually, i found out only a couple days after deadline, which was about 4 days after I submitted. I don't know if that means that I rock or that my name just comes early in the alphabet. I will be sure to report back.

i am going crazy !!!!!!!!!!!! waiting waiting..
in the mean time i am trying to prep for the duke interview for 5th feb.. maybe since i am making a class visit to cornell on 6th feb, they might want to see me then before making a decision to interview me?
i dont know.. it just sucks waiitng

Duke interview is done by a student - very conversational, at least in my case. I think the most important thing was to make sure that you're going to fit in and be someone they'd wnat to have in class. The interviewer had only my resume to go on.
Overall, it was very relaxed and low-pressure. One question threw me a bit - I don't know why, cause I had prepped for it, and I knew duke would ask this. they just wanted me to describe a team situation - one where you weren't a leader. I had planned to talk about a college situation, but that went right out of my head and had to scramble for something else. I think it was ok, but I am annoyed with myself 'cause I KNEW they would ask.
It would be nice if you could Cornell to interview when you visit, so that you can avoid making two trips. God knows Ithaca is not easy to get to. Are you sure that they know that you have applied and are visiting? Has anyone else had experience with this?

Well, in my application status for Cornell it says - under review
and it shows my class visit date there.. so hopefully thye know i am coming..
on top of that, the interview now shows n/a...
i really hope i get to hear something before then and try to co-ordinate both interviews together...
At Duke, I have prepped for the following -
Why Duke
What do I bring to Duke
Tell me about yourself
Walk me through your resume
What would you do if not accepted?
How would your friends describe you?
What are your weaknesses?
What are your strengths?
Why MBA?
Why now?
Am I missing anything?

She was also quite interested in my contribution to the community, but she was aiming for specific groups I would join. Less interested in the more "adding to diversity and learning experience" bent of that quesiton.

For Cornell, there was no place to write anything about what clubs we will join and lead while doing MBA.. for duke, we had ample space..
