I feel like I need a MBA to really climb the corporate ladder and get a foot hold in Product Management at bigger and emerging top class companies.
I do not think a 2 year MBA at my age is useful. However, the 1 year Cornell Tech MBA in NY really caught my interest.
Hello there!
Good to hear from you.
So I totally understand your desire to go for a one-year program and it makes sense. I mean given your experience and your current base salary, you seem to be already where most people are post-MBA. What would also make sense given your age and experience is an EMBA (or even a PT program.. for example the Haas evening and weekend program). There are a lot of very interesting programs out there, and since you have done very well in your work experience, you would also do quite well there, as test scores and GPA tend to matter less than what you have actually done.
Obviously getting a 700 on your GMAT would be great! And give you a solid shot at Cornell.
Let me know your thoughts,
Best,
Jon Frank
