Yesterday I spoke with an R1 admitted student.

He told me that not only is application volume way up (as we've discussed previously) but that the yield is also up. I guess it had been below 50% for some time, but now it's somewhere in the mid-60s! Wonder if Cornell will have the issues that Yale had last year....

Thanks for the encouraging message. I just officially struck Cornell of possible places to attend!

I hear they're expecting something in the range of 2300 applications this year. Last year it was 1800, thats a 28% surge in app volume from all rounds.
