I go with (C). The phrase 'involves the introduction of dye into the arteries of the heart ' only serves to describe the technique, so it should be seperated with a comma. And to join up with the phrae 'x-rays to observe cardiac function', it uses the joiner 'and'. So (C) seems to fit in nicely.

ans is ... C
erase the ''for Diagnosing the Coronary Disease'' and read the line it makes sense...
