Hi,

Is it absolutely necessary for 'Disccuss' to be followed by 'about'?

E.g., 1. I will discuss the changes next week.

2. I will discuss about the changes next week.

Is 2 better than 1? Let me know which is the preferred option.

I don't think I've heard 'Discuss about xxxx' being used very much. Always prefer using 'discuss xxxx'.

I did a google search and found that both the usages are prevalent; I wanted to find which usage is preferred in GMAT.
