I took my GMAT PREP today and was startled by seeing my score 630(Q45 V32).. I got most of the SC wrong, but were good in RC(1 wrong) and CR(5 wrng).

Just 10 more days for the test, Please advise if there could be a quick fix to score a decent score

Go through Manhattan GMAT SC guide. That will really help you to improve your SC capability.

I'm guessing you will take your real GMAT on the 17th?

Best of luck~ I've been studying for over half a year now and my test is also going to be on the 17th of this month. I'm just re-doing my CAT to build up that endurance and hopefully all the hardwork will pay off.

Good luck on the real deal!!

I would suggest a combination of things:

1. If you are international (non-native speaker), you will have to go through a good grammar guide. One such suggestion is Kaplan Verbal Foundations and then couple that with GMAT Fiction to get even on the playing field with the native speakers.

2. if you are a native speaker, MGMAT SC or PowerScore SC are good books for that purpose and should work quite well. (don't buy both though as they contain very similar material)

Bakfed,

Thanks, my exams are on the 19th.

Best wishes for your exams, you had been going through a good long period of hard-work, be surprised only if you dont get a great score. HARD WORK IS SURE TO BRING SUCCESS. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

BB, thanks for your advise :) :) , strategies to attack and quick spotting of errors were my biggest trouble.

Days to go are less than a week and am really pushing hard.

Cheers
