Could you please help me with my profile evaluation [#permalink]

I would like to apply to Rotman, Schulich, Ivey and Queens.

I scored 620 in my Gmat and having about 5.5 yrs of Work Experience in IT with one of the Big banks in Canada and have 3.5 GPA.

Could someone please advice what are my chances of getting an admit into one of these schools ?

Hi,

Your GMAT score is a little low for these schools, so you will have to highlight professional and personal accomplishments that demonstrate leadership capabilities, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.

You should plan for applying soon as you seem to be in perfect stage of your career and around 5 - 7 years of work experience is what most of the above B Schools look for.

The next step for you is to focus more on his application essays & recommendations for these Business Schools.

Your GMAT score may be a bit low, but at the same time, the schools aren't THAT selective, and you definitely can make up for it with really good work experience (you seem to be working for the right people). I would say if you are applying this year, then just go for it. But if you are applying next year anyhow, then yeah, retake the GMAT and try and get 30+ points higher.
