Im kind of following you from quite sometime now and Im jedalous of your commitment...Im sure you are going sth like 770-780 types

all the best

personally Im kind of bored with GMAT material now...planning to take things little easy....want to be fresh on gmat day...would take a 750 types with both hands...else even 720 is fine

Haha I wish! But that 780 mock score is inflated. I know that I will end up with a 720-730. But I will fight with all I have got for that 750! Once I post my debrief, you will see how painful my journey has been. But since I had the target of 750, I wont let it go that easily.

You know something, we work very very hard in the beginning but that commitment becomes shadier towards the end. This is where you actually let go and are ready to accept whatever score you get. But isn't that the wrong approach? I mean you spend 2 months working like a donkey to get to a score. Then just for the sake of last 15 days, you are ready to go below it???? Then whats the point of spending so much time on something that will not hold too much value beyond the b-school?

This what I have been thinking and every time I get bored, I come back stronger. I will try to get as high as possible and won't let go of that 750 score, no matter what!!

But if I score less I wont retake!

Between GMAT prep 2 and now....you have moved from v34 to v47....thats some achievement

you wont believe....I am so disappointed with myself after reading your posts....in last 20-30 days I didn't work hard believing that one cant improve verbal beyond a point so no point is trying hard....now I realize it was just an ostrich's behavior

dont want to trouble you before GMAT...but will call you someday to understand the tricks

great job mate....make sure you keep 1-2 days off before final tests and go fresh

Dude! I guess you misapprehended the scores. See that V34 was way below my level because I was jittery thanks to the Red Bull in the middle of Verbal Section. I should have got a V40.

Secondly, that V47 is absolutely unrealistic, the GMAT PREP I was a retake!!! No way can I score that much.

But one thing is true, I also followed from the posts in gmatclub, that you cannot improve in verbal! BUT You can! After just 2-3 days of hardcore practice, I feel much more confident now!

All I am telling you is don't let go and don't even think that you will score 720 and it will be okay. Don't think of anything below 750. You might still get a 720 nevertheless but dont you think its worth the effort??

If you still have gmatprep documents, work hard on them. work through every question and then see the solution on mgmat forums.

All the best!

GMATPrep Docs are compilations of the questions that appear on the GMATPrep Test I and II. These are some of the best sources of practice for Standard GMAT Material. Search for them on this forum, you will find one document for every section on the GMAT.

But use them after you have taken every GMAT Prep I and II atleast twice to exhaust practise questions and use the documents to work on standard material for practice towards the end of your prep.

All the best! :) :)

Hey akhilesh,

I know that there are 2 GMAT PREP docs - each for CR and SC, however is there any similar doc for GMAT PREP RCs too ?

Cheers!

Good luck man! You seem to be all set for your target. You have the time in your hands, and you can capitalize on that by focusing even harder. I am sure you will get 750 in the finale :-)

Don't know man. I feel fragile. I am equally likely to score a 650 as to a 760!

All I can say is trust your instincts, and pick the one that sounds right.

You've been over all this material so many times by now that it is all there in your brain, just don't doubt yourself.
