Approximately two hundred brands of personal computers are being manufactured, but we currently limit our inventory to only the eight most popular brands. We plan to increase greatly the number of computers we sell by expanding our inventory to include the ten best-selling brands.
Which of the following, if true, points out a major weakness of the plan above?

B basically surmises that even with the expansion, the two additional products will not account for a significant increase in sales..
Nevermind...I see how B is irrelevant now.. the top seven sold make up the majority sold within the orginization, it doesn't neccissarily mean that adding two additional products won't increase sales..
Straight B. Their plan 'to increase the number of computers sold' solely depends on expanding our inventory to include the ten best-selling brands.But option B shows that at present their computers sold are because of the best 7 and they don't even require their 8th one.Hence expanding from 8 to 10 is a major flaw to acheive their objective of increasing 'number of computers sold' and not 'profit'.
