C should be it. 45 sec.
Negate the assumption: Restauration audiences were NOT representative of the whole population of their time.
If the Restauration drama was successful among a small and negligible part of the population and that the rest of the population did not like it, how can we say that the Restauration drama is a good index? The argument falls apart

Paul, how do you go about this sort of CR's. Do you go to the choices and strat negating them?

Yes, try negating the assumption. If the argument falls apart, then you got it. You just have to understand what negating the assumption implies and be able to apply it to the question at hand.
