valid point..should be C.
also, (C) says number of older people has increased..but doesnt imply that all old people would undergo cataract surgery.. :!: :!:

On the contrary i would argue that if the operation has gone unsuccessful i would rather avoid another surgery and go for general treatment and try to improve vision. Or maybe cataract is once in a lifetime operation.
