Ans is E here is why:
this is a weaken the conclusion question. so let's first locate the conclusion and the evidence:
Concl: Player selected by A has more chances of becoming starter than player selected by B
Evidence (why?): past 6 drafts 4/6 are starters
Goal: to show that player selected by A doesn’t have more chances
Paraphrasing an answer usually helps to get a better understanding of a question, to better relate to it, even if your paraphrasing is not one of the choices
my paraphrase was: A had more $$ to spend than B; currently A is out of cash whereas B found a new, loaded sponsor

Kaplan Practice question 48
In the past 6 pro football drafts, 4 of the 6 players selected by Team A are now starters on the squad. On Team B, only 2 of the 6 players selected in the draft are starters. SO, a football player selected by Team A from the draft pool has a higher probability of becoming a starter than if he is selected by Team B.
Which of the following if true, would be the best reason to reject this argument.
a. Two of the four starters on the Team A are the songs of the coach.
how does this statement help to weaken the conclusion - players selected by A have more chances? sons of the coach will not allow anymore starters? maybe yes maybe no one thing we know is we dont know
b. Team B has a new owner and coaching staff.
this choice wants you to make an assumption that possibly the new staff/coach will hire more starters. c. Team B has a new state-of-the-art gym.
yeah, and my GF is Pamela Anderson -- how is either of the statements going to help to weaken the conclusion? i dont want to know
d. Team B's pick is a quarterback, and the starting quarterback is retiring.
same as C and B – so what?e. Team A has had the first draft pick for the past 6 years, while Team B has had the last pick. This year it is reversed.
now this one nicely explains that the formula "starters have more chances to get into A" is wrong. this ans choice explains that the reason B was selecting less starters because B' s coach was forced to pick from the crumbs left on the table
