Most MBA programs only really care about what you did after graduation. BUT if you have something interesting/significant/relevant, by all means, include it.

I think #2 is better, sounds more positive. Mention the specific number/percentage if possible.

ARINGO In case you come across this, my dilemma is that in my company's branch that I worked out of and that had 2500+ employees, I was the Lead for one of the employee networks. This led to a few important milestones, albeit over and above the job I get paid for.

Do I include such items under work ex? Or what would be the ideal term to classify such activities under?

Thank you for taking your time out.

Hi VV21,

Thanks for posting your query. My name is Priyanka, Client Manager at ARINGO.

The answer is YES. You should emphasize this in the CV under work experience. The fact you were taking (or was given) responsibilities beyond your role and job specification, are exactly the things business schools are looking for when they read a CV. It is hard for them to compare a lawyer, accountant, and programmer, so what they do is look for people who were excellent in what they were doing, and did above and beyond in "that" area.

Hope this helps!

All the best. :)
