Hi Paul,

What's your view on using a creative approach for the goals essay? I plan to use the essay to tell a story of my past in the future. i.e., I will start with where I want to be and the essay will describe how I got there through memories and flashbacks? Do you think that is wise? Or should I stick to a conventional method?

I think your approach is worth trying. Just give them as much meat as you can, i.e., make that "future" you portray as credible and factual as you can. And be sure when all is said and done that you've answered their questions: why MBA, why now, why our school, etc.
