CUNY Bacruch - Zicklin Honors Program

Hi Hjort,
I'm doing some advanced planning for my applications process (2-3 years down the road for a Finance MBA in metro NYC, DC or Boston). I wonder why CUNY Baruch's Zicklin Honors program, with an average GMAT of 650 (higher than Fordham, BC, BU, GWU, just a shade lower than Georgetown) and GPA of about 3.34 for admitted students, doesn't make most league tables.
I know that there are other proxies or school quality, and that their GMAT scores may be inflated because alot of good GMAT performers within NYC must go there to save money (a shade over $20,000 in tuition for a full 2-year program), but their average salaries are on par with the other programs in the GMAT 600-650 range (included all those I mentioned, save Georgetown), and they are located in the Mecca of finance.
Anyway, I have a BSBA in Finance/Minor in Economics, and will have finished the CFA test by the time I apply, and want to get a handle on what programs would be worthwhile and challenging (don't want to get the MBA just for it's own sake). I think that I'll have a slight chance of making Columbia or NYU come application time, and need to get a list of other programs that I would be happy to follow through on. Can you offer any guidance on the merits of this program vs. a private program of comparable admissions statistics?
What is the best source to specifically evaluate the Finance depts. of MBA programs?
Thanks alot!
