Current JD Considering MBA In the Future

Hello All,
Tried to search for this answer, couldn't find one on point enough with my situation.
I'm a rising 2L at a T20 law school. I'll end up, after graduation, about top 15% of my class. Undergrad GPA 3.8, B.A.'s in Economics and Music from a well-known liberal arts college. Had a bunch of leadership roles in undergrad. Went straight to law school (the fault in my career path, haha). Going through OCI in the fall, have a fairly good shot at BigLaw, looking to do transnational (pref. M&A or Tech Transnational).
At some point I want to go in-house, but I'm really not dead-set on a legal role. Rather, I just want the opportunity to advance as far as I'm able in executive roles later in my career. Nebulous goal, but I've obviously got some time to refine.
Since I've got time, I want to know 1) if an MBA is a good option for my goals, and if so when I should get it; and 2) If I'm able and how to position myself for a top MBA down the road.
Willing to provide more details as needed. Thanks!
