Cutting Edge Knife Company enlisted P people to sell 200 knives each, and each salesperson then enlisted P more people to sell 200 knives each. If everyone sold all of his or her 200 knives, what is the value of P ?

(1) The first P salesperson sold 1/9 of all the knives sold
(2) 14,400 knives were sold in total

According to the given condition ,
p^2(200)+p(200)=T where T =total number of knives sold.

(1) p(200)=T/9 => T=1800p substitute and we get p=0,8 => p=8 is valid SUFFI
(2)here T=14400 ,we get p = 8 hence SUFFI
