All of our classes are that way. For the most part, I really like it. Things move quickly, you get to take a lot of classes (I've completed 11, and will have completed 15 or 16 by May).

There have been a couple courses where I feel like they crammed in a lot and it was maybe a little too quick: stats and maybe acctg.

yeah, that's why I was hoping for a quarter system school, allowing me to take more electives. That was the issue I had with Berkeley's semester system while I was an undergrad. Though it did extend the classes that you love a lot, haha

I think Haas went to a hybrid system to allow students to take more electives, since in the past, the 10 core classes each took a semester, and your entire first year plus a little bit of 2nd year was taken up by those classes.

yes, that seems like it might be a good solution. the core courses, which HAVE to cover certain things in order to prepare students for what comes next could be less rushed that way. But you can still take lots of electives. AAu seal of approval granted!
