Educational Background:
Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications - GPA 3.5
GMAT 680 (Q49,V33)

Professional Background: Experience: 5 years (as of August-2012)
1) Senior Analyst 2010 - present: Credit Risk Analytic at a Boutique Consulting
Currently working with the largest retail bank in UK to develop strategies and insights to advise clients on the following :
Customer acquisition ,Customer retention,Loss Minimization on High Credit Limit accounts,Collection strategies to minimize loss on delinquent accounts etc.

2) 2007-2010: Business Analyst at a Major IT MNC

Extra-Curricular Activities:

NGO experience - Worked for an NGO from within the organization to help the underprivileged children, of Denotified tribal area , in accessing a continuous stream of education. Involved in speaking to small fund donors and gathering volunteers.

Rock Band in Undergraduate Institute - Performed Live and backstage at various competitive events across State.
Head of Cultural Committee in Undergraduate Institute - Funds collections , marketing events for the various year round activities

Member of Core marketting committee in Undergraduate Institute - Marketing spotlight events across state, inviting high budget sponsors for event sponsorship

Languages known: English , Hindi , German(Speaking)

Reason for doing an MBA: Career Progress
I would want to leverage my Credit Risk Analytic experience and work post MBA for a Big 4 in their Risk Advisory domain, or leverage the same experience to work for a large lending Institution in their Credit risk vertical(Ex Citi , Amex etc)

How good is Darden in placing students in Financial consulting Companies such as Oliver Wyman ?

Where can I find Recommendation Questions for Darden 2013, before sending them to recommenders through online application ?

It can be a personal situation. Someone asked about it on the latest admissions chat they held. Check out their admissions blog for the details.

I just realized the instructions on the Darden application regarding recommendations are a little vague. For reapplicants, are we supposed to submit only one recommendation (since our previous app had the requisite 2), or are we supposed to submit 3 all new recommendations?

I believe it will be one "NEW" application. There is no point re submitting the old one. You could get that checked with the admission staff.

I remember having this same question when I was applying. The Darden application page, from what I recall, is fairly different from those of other schools and not very easy to navigate. I don't know if they've changed the system for this year, but I couldn't find those rec questions before submitting them either.

One of my recommend-er is out of town. He will be able to submit the recommendation only on Tuesday/Wednesday. Can I still go ahead and submit rest of my application for EA round i.e. by Monday? Would they consider it part of EA round or move it to the next round? If you have been through similar experience or are a member of adcom/current student, please do help.

It doesn't appear so. Once I thought everything was ready, I went ahead and clicked "submit application" thinking that the PDF review option might come on a subsequent page. It doesn't. After hitting "submit" you're required to pay and are done.

On that note, has anyone that already submitted received a confirmation of receipt, on the webpage or via email? I have confirmation that they received my payment, but not my application.
