Had my GEMBA interview on 13 march. I applied for the full-time program in R2 but was asked to interview for GEMBA. Anybody else who interviewed for GEMBA as well?

I have had my FT MBA interview few days ago. Liked the experience. After the famous first question it turned into kind of a normal conversation. I didn't keep all my questions till the end and occasionally threw in one or two, so it seemed to me that we really interacted, not just I was interrogated. Very friendly, very nice.

I can't say anything about Fuqua, but I can say that when I visited they played up their Consulting Placement statistics. I believe 9 of top 10 Consulting firms interview on campus, and among the Big 3 they are the best per capita--only Wharton and Harvard compare in numbers (about 10 from each top firm), but given that Darden's class is so much smaller--they are the best per capita... Atleast, that's what I was told. I hope that helps.

Do they send out the decisions exactly on the official date(Next Wed)?

I still have no feedback
no itv no rej
no itv invitation even I visited the school from China？ god
thats too cruel。。。。

any idea what happened？？

littleflower: unfortunately that is part of the game. I flew from China to US to visit two programs for last year's cycle, and got dinged w/o interview at both. This year I was interviewed at 4/4. The difference for me was demonstrating leadership and career progression, as the other elements all stayed the same. Don't lose hope. Many programs look favorably on reapplicants.

I know it is big challenge
I applied 7 this year and ITV with other 6

I am waiting for darden ITV。。。
cannot believe I got no ITV after such an amazing and pleasant visit
I talk with AO for like 40 mins, though informal。。。
darden is really my top choice。。too sad 。。

How are people feeling? I'm nervous as balls. I've had horrible misfortunes lately by getting rejected by 2 schools and wait listed by 3. Darden is my last hope to not get skunked.

Anybody know if Darden waitlists candidates without interviews? It's been all quiet out of Charlottesville since I submitted my application so I know an admit is out of the question, but not sure if waitlist is still an option?

I'm not sure if they do or not but looking at the applicant tracker feed on the first page, the several people that got wait listed round 1 listed themselves as 'wait listed with interview.' Again not sure how representative that is.

Thanks. If I manage to get in, I will try to visit both Fuqua and Darden before making a final decision. Being based in Shanghai, I haven't had a good opportunity to visit either program while in session. I've got the FF miles all saved up and am itching to burn them of tickets to the East Coast... I am glad to finally be in one program--was worried about getting four dings.

I'm just an optimist. I have no idea if they will notify earlier than that or not. Fuqua was supposed to notify today at the earliest, but I got the call on Friday.
